MesseQuartier: An MCH Group initiative
With its MesseQuartier initiative, MCH Group and its partners are bringing a breath of fresh air to Basel. The MesseQuartier is a space that invites you to spend time there, engaging in networking and deriving inspiration – a place for creating encounters and spurring on ideas. And, at the heart of the MesseQuartier is the Messe und Congress Center Basel, which attracts thousands of national and international guests to Basel each year.
Our events and initiatives provide a major added-value boost to the region and strengthen the local economy. Our current study also confirms this significant added value for Basel.
The MCH Group generates a value added of CHF 201 million in Basel.
1 Swiss franc of value added by the MCH Group creates an additional CHF 4.50 in Basel.
The value added generated by Basel tourism through the activities of the MCH Group amounts to CHF 105 million.
